This is my new costume (Asuka Langley Soryuu from Neon Genesis Evangelion).
Even though it's fairly easy to make I ran into some trouble when making it and when wearing it (seriously, it's as if the costume is cursed lol). First I burned the fabric of the skirt a bit with the iron (fortunately it’s not very noticeable) which never happened to me before, I smudged the sleeves with paint while I was painting on the black stripes and I burned my first “clips” in the oven, meaning I had to go and buy more Fimo.
During the event I almost lost the fan and the paint on the sole of the shoes wore off (but it’s not that bad lol). Anyway, despite all this I think it looked good and I managed to take some good photos. :3
One of my best friends
was my pair (as Rei) and she ran into a lot of troubles as well but she’ll explain later lol.
