10 years of Cosplay
Yesterday was my 10th birthday as a Cosplayer! I started in 2004 at the first edition of Cosplay Photoshoot (2004) and went as Arwen from The Lord of the Rings (everyone makes mistakes when they start... lol). I was 17 years old back then and met people that changed my life a lot. Fortunately, some of them are still very good friends of mine .
Sometimes I miss those days, everyone knew each other and this was just simpler. But I'm glad that the cosplay community in Portugal has grown a lot! I never imagined that 10 years later we would have awesome cosplayers, great events and international competitions!

Antes de ir para o Asian Culture Party quero antes dizer que dia 15 de Junho vai decorrer a Festa do Japão no jardim japonês ao pé de Belém.

Bolsa de Turismo de Lisboa
Last friday and over the weekend the Portuguese Association of Cosplay (Associação Portuguesa de Cosplay - APC) attended a fair dedicated to tourism (Bolsa de Turismo de Lisboa). As a member of the APC, I was invited to participate in the 3 days we were there and help spread Cosplay as an activity of the Japanese pop culture. We were always 5 cosplayers at Japan's stand (organized by the Embassy of Japan in Portugal) and for 1 hour we talked about cosplay, took pictures and answered question from curious people.
